DIET Resubelpara provides training (2-year diploma course) for pre-service elementary school teachers. The curriculum for the said course was recently developed and provided by the Directorate of Educational Research and Training, Shillong. |

Short term in-service teacher training programmes |
DIET Resubelpara also organizes a number of short term training programmes, capacity building workshops, development of TLMs and other SSA programmes. It conducts various programmes for the Heads of schools, in-service elementary school teachers and educational officers at the cluster and block levels. |

Extension Programmes |
DIET Resubelpara also undertakes the task of dissemination of all information and knowledge, relating to New Policy decisions, initiatives, interventions, etc. for effective implementations among educational workers, teachers, villagers, etc. or any other matters of professional interests to the teachers. Publications of newsletter, pamphlets, video/audio cassettes, etc. are some of the ways and means of disseminating knowledge and information. |

Research and Action Research |
DIET Resubelpara undertakes research work in elementary education of the district and work with the teachers to undertake ‘Action research’ to solve the problems in school activities |
